Have I got a treat for you today! I’m very excited to share a “Not Wedding” Atlanta shoot with images by Jason Hales Photography. The “Not Wedding” shoots are put together by The Big Fake Wedding, an amazing company. The Big Fake Wedding is a bridal show alternative that sets up events where guests (future Mr. & Mrs.) get to see vendors in action and be surrounded by tons of inspiration. This particular shoot was a pre-wedding, engagement party with a bourbon and cigar theme. Spring Wedding in Shelburne Farms, Vermont

P h o t o s b y O r c h a r d C o v e P h o t o g r a p h y

Hello readers! Winter is just around the corner but I’ve got a spring wedding to show you all today. This wedding takes place in New England. We’re going to head up to Vermont, in fact, to take a look at these wonderful photos by Orchard Cove Photography. The bride and groom picked a beautiful venue, Shelburne Farms, a place I know from my time spent in Vermont’s scenic Lake Champlain area. Have a look for yourself, and happy weekend!

…We wanted the flowers and lighting to highlight the beauty of the location and building. Because the coach barn was built around the turn of the last century we decided to use colors that were appropriate for that time period. The colors were muted and the flowers also went along with that era. We wanted to use deep purples and the rest would be muted tones like sage green, lavender, light pink…

I have a wonderful weekend treat for you all - a stunning intimate shoot by Crystal Stokes Photography. This shoot is full of rich, earthy florals, amazing wedding hair, an antique-style sweetheart table, and of course, a fabulous couple (and their little one!) with a desire to document their love. This is a non-traditional wedding story. And here at Belles & Bubbles, we love things that come with a special and unique twist. So feast your eyes on this set of photos and let yourself swoon for a while!

Holly and Corey began planning their wedding shortly after they got engaged. A surprise came their way when they found out they were pregnant. The couple spent several months trying to figure out whether or not to go through with their wedding plans, but ultimately decided not to have a wedding as they had planned. Instead, they decided to go through with the idea of documenting their love, and therefore set up a shoot for the two of them and their newest member of the family, their baby boy.

Escape to Oz: A Vibrant and Whimsical Styled Shoot

P h o t o s b y K e r r y A n n D u f f y

I’m super excited to share this styled shoot with you all today. It’s absolutely magical and is bursting with color and drenched in gorgeous light. This shoot, shot by the very talented Kerry Ann Duffy was inspired by the Disney film Oz the Great and Powerful. Whether you’ve seen this film or not, the shoot was executed to perfection. From the florals, to the shimmering gown and pops of color, this is definitely a set of images to inspire.

From the photographer…It all started when Clare at The House Meadow saw the trailer for Oz The Great & Powerful and sent me the link. The colours that emerge when the transition from black and white occurs are amazing and they really inspired us to begin planning a shoot that would incorporate this explosion of colour.

We spent so much time brainstorming, creating story boards and then collecting items for the shoot because we wanted to create something magical and inspiring. Everyone who collaborated on this was just as passionate about it as we were and while it was very hard work, it was also lots of fun.

We are so pleased with what we achieved as it is exactly what we had envisaged.
