Happy Friday, lovely readers. We’re sharing an elopement with you all today. This one takes place in sunny Australia. These photos from Jemma Keech are so romantic and totally make me swoon over the idea of elopements! I absolutely love the couple’s attire, the florals, and the scenery. Enjoy!

From the photographer…Late last year I spent a beautiful afternoon with the very lovely Brigid & Matt to capture their bridal portraits. They were married the day before in the Perth registry office and then escaped down south, to spend time honeymooning at the picturesque Empire Retreat in Yallingup, WA.

Turks and Caicos Destination Beach Wedding

P h o t o s b y N a t a l i e W a t s o n P h o t o g r a p h y

Well it’s the dead of winter here in New England, and this gorgeous Turks & Caicos wedding is making me dream of summer’s warmth. Set amidst the gorgeous aqua blues of the Caribbean, this wedding had only twenty guests, making it a lovely intimate, relaxed, and romantic affair. Check out the photos from Natalie Watson Photography for yourself.

From the bride…Our friends and family live all over the U.S. and Canada, so it was going to be a destination wedding for our guests no matter where we got married. With that in mind, we thought there couldn’t be a better place to bring them than Turks & Caicos. We got married on a Thursday in order to “get the wedding out of the way,” leaving us the rest of the weekend to have some stress-free fun with our family and friends.

The main thing we wanted was for our wedding to feel intimate. Our goal was to have the reception feel more like a casual dinner party on the beach rather than an event at a big resort. To do that, we kept things relatively low key. We used only one long table with simple bud vases of white hydrangeas. Dinner was served family-style. Our favors were bags of s’mores, which everyone roasted at the end of the night before many of them ran into the ocean – some in their wedding attire!

A Panoramic Wedding in Glacier National Park, Montana

P h o t o s b y O r a n g e P h o t o g r a p h i e

I’m a definite fan of the talented duo over at Orange Photographie, so I’m thrilled to share this feature of their photos of a beautiful outdoor wedding in Montana. Being a mountain gal myself, I appreciate a view, and this one is spectacular. This couple’s also got a pretty good story and I adore the florals.

You could say Maggie and Braden met because of one pair of boots. Maggie got complemented by a gal on her favorite pair while she was vacationing in Montana. They both found out they were from Minnesota, hundreds of miles from where they currently were. The girl eventually set Maggie up with her cousin, Braden. Maggie and Braden hit it off, stayed together and eventually got married back in Montana. Their beautiful wedding took place at the Great Northern Resort just outside of Glacier National Park. And get this, Maggie wore the same boots she was wearing the day Braden’s cousin wanted to set the pair up…

Bohemian Countryside Summer Wedding in Italy

P h o t o s b y B i a n c o P h o t o g r a p h y

Happy Hump Day, friends. While it’s freezing here in New England, this bohemian countryside summer wedding in Italy surely makes me feel warmer. And I absolutely love all things boho! This wedding is full of gorgeous summer sun in a fabulous location in Italy and lots of lovely reception details. Oh to have a reception outside like this one! Take a look at these photos from Anna Ambrosi of Bianco Photography and tell me you’re not yearning for summer too…

Bohemian Countryside Summer Wedding: Couple Shot

From the wedding planner, Giusy D’AmbrosioGovanna and James got married in Carovigno, a small town in Puglia, Italy. In July the weather was sunny and hot, absolutely perfect for a countryside wedding. Both ceremony and reception took place in a private villa, where all guests enjoyed the rich flavours of South Italy food and wine.

Giovanna was gorgeous in her lace dress, wearing a colourful flower headband that matched her bouquet. Her love for simplicity and nature was the theme of the wedding. Centenary olive trees all around, an old wagon wheel as tableau de marriage, name cards with olive leaves as placeholders, an old bell to ring to make them kiss, folk dancers to fire up the after party.

Rustic California DIY Ranch Wedding

P h o t o s b y A n n a P e t e r s

Hello my dear readers. I love the feel of a rustic chic wedding and this wedding sums up that phrase pretty wonderfully. From succulents to the outdoor ceremony to the donut bar, this DIY ranch wedding is truly unique to the couple. Let’s have a look at these photos by Anna Peters and see what the couple had in mind for their day…

DIY Ranch Wedding: Couple Portrait

Jacob and Kortnee decided to really go for a DIY wedding. DIY wedding projects are wonderful, and are a true expression of the couple when they decide to take on the details themselves. The couple designed their invitations, built the escort card display, did their own gorgeous table number calligraphy, and painted their own wedding signs. And to top it all off, Jacob and Kortnee both love donuts, so they opted to have a donut bar with six different flavors. Oh, and they had a pretty incredible cake too…
