Ladies and gents, today’s feature is a doozie. When you combine the raw and wonderful talents of renowned film photographer Erich McVey with the styling of Pearl & Godiva, add a dash of art history all taking place in Italy…well, that’s amore. This Italian springtime wedding inspiration was captured by Momento Cativo during one of Pearl & Godiva’s workshops. Chock-full of unique and lovely bridal styling and lush florals and delicate details, this styled shoot is nothing short of jaw-dropping.
From the photographer…After travelling to the stunning hillside town of Orvieto in Italy and spending a few days surrounded by immensely talented vendors and attendees at the recent Pearl & Godiva workshop with Erich McVey, we were in awe of the delicately organic images Erich shot of the ‘Primavera’ inspired editorial lovingly crafted by the ladies at Pearl & Godiva. Inspired by Botticelli’s ‘Primavera - A Lesson for the Bride’, Pearl & Godiva wowed the attendees at the third Styling Pilgrimage. The painting shows Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, who is surrounded by the Three Graces. The Three Graces run an inviting thread throughout the editorials photographed by Erich McVey and florals from internationally renowned floral designers Saipua.
