It’s no secret that I love showcasing imagery from workshops. For one, I know that the styling will be amazing when it’s a workshop hosted by Erich McVey. Secondly, it allows me to find great photographers whose work I get excited to showcase. Today’s wedding inspiration captured by Sarah Carpenter is centered around romantic outdoor bridal portraits with a simplicity of fashion and backdrops, but all swoon-worthy nonetheless. My favorite details? The crowns from Mignonne Handmade and feminine bouquet by Selva Floral Design.
From the photographer…Spending two days with Erich and Amy McVey for my one-on-one workshop, learning as much as I possibly could soak up and taking part in two incredible shoots was beyond my wildest dreams. It’s already been over 3 weeks since I got back from the workshop in Oregon, and I am still dreaming of it, wishing I could go back and learn even more! This bridal shoot was so dreamy. I loved the way the two different gowns perfectly complimented the scenery they were shot in. The crowns, oh the crowns and that bouquet! They were beyond perfection. The forest setting with the Sarah Janks dress and the open field and hops field with the Leanne Marshall gown… both were absolute magic.
