Winter Seaside Wedding Inspiration

I’m a big fan of Morgan Lamkin and when I saw this shoot of hers, I just knew I had to have it featured on the blog. Though we’ve finally gotten ourselves into Spring, there’s still plenty of snow on the ground here in New England, and chilling temperatures that have rarely creeped up above 30 degrees - needless to say I’m ready for warm weather. I can, however, fully appreciate the winter color palette in Morgan’s styled shoot and I warm up inside every time I see the gorgeous lighting captured in these photographs.

From the photographer…The inspiration behind my winter seaside shoot was the ocean and it’s soft color palette. Being from San Diego, we don’t get those stunning winter white holidays, so I really wanted to do something creative on the beach and incorporate the blues and greys of the water, along with the neutral tones of the sand into a holiday setup. The flowy tulle of Elizabeth Dye’s Halo gown pulled everything together beautifully. The farm table from West Elm added a rustic touch while keeping the table setup simple with a lush green garland from Modern Bouquet, and some touches of brass and silver for a classic look.

There’s so much beauty in this styled shoot by Morgan, and with such peaceful essence. So happy to have shared this with you all. Stay tuned for another feature of Morgan’s work coming to the blog soon!
