Art Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot in Italy

Captured by Janna Warm, today’s art inspired wedding styled shoot in Italy is rich with art history, particular the Pre-Raphaelites era which is heavily influenced by nature and color. I love nature-infused inspiration so all the glorious greenery has me completely captivated. This shoot seems to represent all forms of art with it’s lush green Italian backdrop, architecture, florals, design and photography serving as true wedding inspiration for the nature-lovers out there.

From the photographer…We were inspired by the Pre-Raphaelites (a group of English painters, poets, and critics, founded in 1848) and the beautiful magic garden in Italy. The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood was greatly influenced by mythological scenes, nature and its members used great detail to show the natural world using bright and sharp focus techniques on a white canvas. Women are central figures in Pre-Raphaelite art and this has given us the concept of the shoot. The main character of our photo shoot is a young nymph, who lives in the gorgeous Gardens of Ninfa. The Muses in paintings had a certain romantic look which is now often referred to as a ‘Pre-Raphaelite look’. We tried to show and promote the natural beauty on the inside and out.
