Three things I love in the wedding world are bohemian weddings, beach weddings, and weddings that use natural elements. This boho beach elopement inspired shoot from Jenny Ostenson has all three of these things - and let me tell you, my friends, my eyes just lit up when I gazed over everything. There are so many details to adore in this wonderfully atypical beach shoot. I’m talking major lush, colorful florals, mussel shell decor, and beautiful use of driftwood.

From the photographer…The Washington coast, or more specific Ruby Beach in the Olympic Peninsula is such an amazing backdrop for this romantic elopement. The beaches stretch over 10 miles in the Olympic National Park. Any couple would love gazing at the dramatic rock formations as they walk along the beach to a secluded location for their ceremony and enjoy a private intimate reception for two.

There’s something especially mystical about this shoot. I really love the organic feel of this particular seaside - the untouched, abandoned-like quality with the rocks, boulders, driftwood, and overcast sky. Thank you so much to Jenny for submitting these images, it is a pleasure to have them as her first feature on the blog.
