Hello lovely readers and happy hump day! I haven’t posted in a while, but I assure you that lots of wonderful things are coming to the blog very soon. Today I’m posting a nice mid-week treat – a wonderful end-of-summer wedding in Connecticut. Enjoy these lovely photos taken by Blueflash Photography. This is definitely a fun wedding to look through and it’s full of fabulous couple portraits.
Kathy and Henry got married on September 20 of this year. They began their wedding day with a first look at a rental house on the waterfront in Stonington, Connecticut. There was hardly a cloud in the sky and the sun was definitely shining down on this gorgeous couple. What an amazing kick off to the day.
The couple’s ceremony and reception took place at the Wadanuck Club, a quaint little clubhouse located right on Stonington Harbor in southeastern Connecticut. The setting offered some wonderful backdrops for portraits and wedding guests could enjoy beautiful scenery during cocktail hour.
After a tented reception dinner, guests made their way indoors to the clubhouse for dancing and celebrating. One of my favorite details of this wedding was that the couple had Ben & Jerry’s for dessert – how can a Vermont native not love that little tidbit. Sending out some props to the bride and groom!
