Happy Friday, friends! I’m ending the week’s features with this late winter wedding inspiration from Sarah Hannam. This one’s got a vintage glam feel and takes place inside of a private estate in Cornwall. Every detail is curated and executed so well for the later winter months with pops of spring colors within the florals. The Jenny Packham gown is such a statement piece and if you’re looking for some eye-catching table inspiration, this one shimmers with elegance.
From the photographer…I was inspired by that short period when the Christmas festivities are long gone and yet we’re not into the full on warm days of April. It’s an in between stage when all around us there are all these little whispers of spring telling us that winter will soon be truly over. The days are still short, but the sun is a little warmer and nature appears to be slowly awakening. The venue, Boconnoc is a large private estate in east Cornwall owned by the Fortescue family and the house itself is a metaphor for awakening from a long sleep, as it was completely derelict for decades and needed over ten years of renovations to bring it back to its beauty and glory.
