I hope everyone had a restful weekend. Today I’m sharing images from a one-on-one workshop with renewed photographer Sawyer Baird captured by Daniela of Edelle Photography. There were so many talented creatives who worked on the various wedding decors and details of this simple and timeless wedding inspiration. The bride and groom look as dapper as they could and I love the delicate lace veil. I didn’t wear a wedding veil for my big day but it’s shoots like these that make me think maybe I should have!
From the photographer…This is a very special styled shoot I did in Atlanta with Sawyer Baird that we are so excited to share! As part of our one-on-one workshop, amazing vendors gathered to collaborate on a styled wedding. This natural styled shoot was perfect from beginning to end - every aspect of it was well designed and intentional to inspire other brides. The colors and style chosen are perfect for any season; the delicate flowers and dress enhanced the bride’s natural beauty and glow she carried throughout the shoot. Being lovers of light and simple things, our bride and groom wore flowy, light yet elegant clothing. Three words that can best describe our shoot are: love, passion and togetherness.
It is always exciting to see a couple’s chemistry through one’s lens. I always look for real, genuine love in every photo and Scott and Kate were just perfect. I have always loved styled sessions, but also believe they do not need to be so serious and solemn - after all, styled bridal sessions are all about inspiring and imitating a bride’s happiness and excitement before her wedding! We added a lot genuine laughs, smiles, kisses and hugs between Scott and Kate to evoke the same happiness every bride has on her big day. I really love this shoot and feel so thankful everyone in the team was so willing to collaborate and create a truly magical styled wedding.
