I’m very excited to share with you, not one, not two, but three gorgeous styled shoots from the Erich McVey Workshop in Bend, Oregon. These shoots were inspired by the elements and were styled by Ginny Au and shot by Anna Peters. Everything from the florals, the attire, to the details are simply stunning. Wind

From the photographer…This couple was inspired by wind. Known for it’s quiet but powerful properties, the wind couple is ethereal and pure; the shoot is filled with soft light blues and whites. As the sun set at Smith Rock state park the wind picked up and created the stunning movement in our model’s Rubicon dress.

Happy Hump Day, friends. While it’s freezing here in New England, this bohemian countryside summer wedding in Italy surely makes me feel warmer. And I absolutely love all things boho! This wedding is full of gorgeous summer sun in a fabulous location in Italy and lots of lovely reception details. Oh to have a reception outside like this one! Bohemian Countryside Summer Wedding: Couple Shot

From the wedding planner, Giusy D’Ambrosio…Govanna and James got married in Carovigno, a small town in Puglia, Italy. In July the weather was sunny and hot, absolutely perfect for a countryside wedding. Both ceremony and reception took place in a private villa, where all guests enjoyed the rich flavours of South Italy food and wine.

Giovanna was gorgeous in her lace dress, wearing a colourful flower headband that matched her bouquet. Her love for simplicity and nature was the theme of the wedding. Centenary olive trees all around, an old wagon wheel as tableau de marriage, name cards with olive leaves as placeholders, an old bell to ring to make them kiss, folk dancers to fire up the after party.

Ethereal Hillside Wedding Inspiration

Hello dear friends. I have some soft, dreamy photos to share with you today, brought to us by Heather Payne. This ethereal hillside wedding inspiration shoot, a project by Team Flower, has got some seriously gorgeous bridal portraits. Pair them with fresh florals and elegant wedding details, and we’ve got ourselves a whole bunch of pretty.

From Kelly of Team Flower…In ancient Hebrew culture when a bride and groom were engaged, there was a time of separation, of waiting. Rather than planning every detail of their wedding day together, the groom needed to leave his bride at her home and go to his father’s house to build a room for he and his bride to live in when they married. She never knew exactly when her groom would return, but she trusted him and waited. This trust brought peace and rest to her mind. In that time she prepared herself for his arrival, fully confident he would return at just the right time.

I began imagining this bride patiently preparing for her groom against the ethereal backdrop of the mountains — running through the hillsides in her flowy, heirloom gown to see if that was him coming around the bend. She gracefully gathers freshly cut flowers, the perfume of each one making her sweeter. Every night she keeps her lamp burning — anticipating his return. And while she waits her love and longing for him grows stronger producing a rich charm and elegance in her eye, one that only comes through waiting.

Jacob and Kortnee decided to really go for a DIY wedding. DIY wedding projects are wonderful, and are a true expression of the couple when they decide to take on the details themselves. The couple designed their invitations, built the escort card display, did their own gorgeous table number calligraphy, and painted their own wedding signs. And to top it all off, Jacob and Kortnee both love donuts, so they opted to have a donut bar with six different flavors. Oh, and they had a pretty incredible cake too…

Now friends, I don’t like to pick favorites, but boy, this styled shoot is one that I could look at all day long. Whimsical is just one word to describe it. I could also use divine, dreamy, romantic, alluring…pick whichever one you want. But this styled shoot from Debry Eby is to-die-for-gorgeous. Let’s have a look at the photos.

From the photographer…Inspiration for this shoot is drawn from the alluring beauty of the coast. Our team of artists designed with an intentional seaglass palette. Gilded accents compliment the hues of blue.

The setting is the sea. A background of gentle waves caressing the shoreline set against a watercolor sky. The ocean has a way of beckoning romance…

…For the closing scene, I had this vision of romantic exploration. As the sun begins dipping over the horizon, our couple steps into the water. Here, they lift white lanterns lighting the dimming seascape.
