Boy, do I have something magical for you all today. Today’s black and gold butterfly inspired wedding styled shoot comes from Christine Gosch during Clayton Austin’s recent workshop. I guarantee these images will make you view the color black in a whole new light. There’s such an elegance and sophistication about the styling, with pops of vibrancy like in the calligraphy suite and the cake. Accents of rustic reds and browns are also used in the color palette, making a perfect harmony with the black and gold. Oh, and have I mentioned that there are camels involved too?

From the photographer…Clayton Austin designed this shoot around the inspiration of an African Citrus Butterfly, which was so cohesive with the setting of Marfa, Texas. It’s rugged landscapes and endless yellow fields were the perfect for this shoot. There were so many unique elements that made this shoot special, like the dress, bouquet, and cake, all handmade by Clayton. He had such a vision for our time spent in Marfa and handcrafted it meticulously to ensure the results were nothing short of amazing.
