Oh my dear friends…wait until you see today’s images of an intimate French garden wedding inspiration shoot by Sarah Carpenter. Romantic is one word to describe this editorial, with its delicate details like the bride’s lace bodice gown and handmade hairpiece. The color palette has the perfect amount of neutral greens and ivories with pops of pinks, purples and burgundies. The florals, decor, pastries and bread (perfect for the French theme!) are all set in a lush green landscape combined beautifully together to showcase the essence of Provence.
From Sarah Carpenter and Emily of Sweet Pea Events…For this shoot, we wanted to create the atmosphere of an intimate wedding on a family lavender farm in Aix-en-Provence. We wanted the audience to become immersed in the pictures, in a world where family comes together over freshly baked bread, an assortment of creamy cheeses and good wine. This atmosphere encourages the family to be merry, laugh, toast and celebrate the marriage of two very loved people. We wanted to tell the story of two people who are so excited to finally be married and who have completely surrendered themselves to each other and are overjoyed to start a life of days like this one - days of family, food and joy on the farm, surrounded by stunning lavender.
