Burgundy, Black & Gold Bridal Attire

Today I’m sharing something a little bit different. Photographer Anne Brookshire captured a fashion-forward styled shoot with the inspiration for burgundy, black and gold bridal attire. While this may not be your typical wedding inspiration or imagery of bridal fashion, I’ve got a lot of adoration for the look created here. The deep, oxblood color looks stunning with the model’s long, dark locks, and this is a look that could perhaps be worn by a fashion-forward bride for an elopement or rehearsal dinner. With so much inspiration for wedding day looks, I love bringing this shoot forward to showcase some of the other big-day moments in fashion that deserve a little love.

From the photographer…For this shoot I was intrigued by the color oxblood in the tones of fall fashion & wanted to create something based off of the color! The amazing Nasty Gal dress was a perfect place to start & has such amazing draping & movement! I wanted to keep it as simple as possible but with strong details so I paired the dress with gold, black, & dark greens. I wanted a natural setting that had both water, rock structure, & deep greens. Austin’s Bull Creek was the perfect spot. I am also always inspired by the mix of hard & soft, structured & effortless elements so I like to play with those when I design a shoot.
