Earlier this week I featured a lovely Spanish-inspired elopement shoot and today I’m continuing the non-traditional wedding ideas with photographer Tamara Gruner’s intimate wedding inspiration in Southern France. We’re going to Provence, to be exact, where romance seems to trickle from every corner. Lace adornments, candles and soft hues of pinks and ivories are carefully curated together to create this sweet, beautiful ambiance. The small, intimate gathering seems to enhance the romance of it all and I love the idea of jetting off with your closest loved ones to celebrate a special occasion like this one.
From Tamara Gruner and Weddings of Excellence In Provence…The delicate rays of the late spring sun cast a mesmerizing spell on the vineyards and surrounding rolling hills. The winding stream waltzed to the tune of the gentle breeze. Nestled in such a whimsical landscape in charming Provence is an elegant and magical piece of land – Blanche Fleur. Adorned in her Nany’n dress the bride started the day by gracing an ancient chapel. Glowing in candle light, all around, she paused to reflect on her magical day. Delicately holding her bouquet of ivory roses she gingerly walked down the aisle – decked with candles – to her beau. Dressed immaculately in his blue tuxedo, the groom was waiting to hold his charming bride. The arch, decorated with pink and white peonies, was the ideal backdrop for an intimate ceremony. The table setting for six, under the veil of an arching tree, was lavishly decorated with roses, peonies and hydrangea, candles, and drift wood. Exquisite hand calligraphed menu and place cards embellished the place setting. The guests were pampered with a wide array of Provençal culinary delights. The day was long gone but the couple strolled in each other’s arms – romancing. They stopped by the vineyards, listened to the rhythm of the flowing brook, and paused to dream. A dream that is now filled only with roses.
