Let’s talk for a minute about grand and wondrous New York City. Lots of hustle and bustle, a million things to see and do, the grandeur of skyscrapers… When I think, and I’m sure many of you too, of New York City wedding inspiration, modern and glamorous are the descriptors that come to mind. Well today Julian Navarette brings us NYC wedding inspiration like you’ve never seen. We’re talking lush greenery, florals with an organic and wild feel, and perfectly put-together groom and bridal attire that emits casual elegance to perfection. Who says city weddings can’t have their nature elements too?

From the photographer…For this romantic garden themed styled shoot, my team and I took a different approach to a typical urban styled wedding shoot. We didn’t play off the city scape or the fast paced aspect that most associate with New York City, rather we used the available greenery to showcase a softer and more romantic side. We began in Central park shooting the models in a variety of green sceneries. The imitate reception was located in the back garden of an east village townhouse. The bride wore a delicate lace gown by Claire Pettibone, and the groom a navy blue Tailored suit by Express. The bouquet was created by myself and Daphne Cebek. We were inspired by many whimsical and bohemian floral designers across many social media platforms, our letterpress was designed by the talented Amy H. Stone.
