When you get to curate photographs of a styled shoot from a Sylvie Gil workshop, it’s all heart-eyes. And when it’s captured in film by the sweetest Stefanie Kapra (Happy Belated Birthday to this lady, BTW!) in a romantic chateau setting in France, it’s more than heart-eyes. We’re talking some serious fairytale-type wedding inspiration, with the getaway car, abundance of florals and lace, and prettiest of tablescapes. Actual fairytale, my friends. So come along with me as I fantasize wedding possibilities with the gorgeous images that follow.
From the photographer…The Chateau de Varennes is one of the most elegant and sought after wedding venues in the beautiful Burgundy area of France. With its lush gardens, rich history, stunning sandstone buildings and charming little chapel, the 400 year old Chateau offers the ideal setting for a romantic and luxurious french countryside wedding celebration.
For the L’amour et L’image workshop, world renowned wedding planner Brooke Keegan styled a breathtaking french wedding shoot inspired by French culture as well as by the Chateau and its historic elements. The details included colorful spring flower arrangements by Holly and Becky of Holly Floral, romantic gowns from Claire Pettibone and Sarah Janks, and one of the most beautiful invitation suites by Little Miss Press and a unique macaroon cake.
The dinner table was set in the most elegant way, utilizing vintage crystal glasses, monographed silverware, timeless blue plates with an elegant golden border. Brass candle holders, a simple linen table cloth and of course organic flower arrangements completed this timeless setting.
