Having grown up in Vermont, I’m a true mountain girl at heart. My inner core lit up when I viewed the images from Emily of Alp & Isle of her Colorado mountain wedding inspiration. Colorado is also a place near and dear to my heart as I’ve visited there several times and have always been so captivated by the immense and gorgeous Rockies. I really love the combination of beautifully styled bridals amid a breathtaking landscape, and these photos are just that. The florals are also a noteworthy detail. They just ooze with uniqueness, texture, rich, deep color.

Wild West Wedding Inspiration

One thing that really pops out in these Wild West images from Rebecca Hollis is the horses. Anytime you see animals mixed in with a styled shoot, they’re going to make you intrigued. I featured some Grecian wedding inspiration several months ago which had a donkey in the shoot. I love when I see animals included in shoots because the animals are so specific to certain cultures. These horses are a perfect fit for this wild west wedding inspiration and including them makes the vision come to life even more. To me, this shoot doesn’t just represent a style, but rather represents a culture with traditions as well.

I am all for a minimalistic approach when it comes to wedding styling, especially if you’re already surrounded by natural beauty. A couple of days ago, I featured the Organic Element Wedding Inspiration photos from Wendy Cooper’s time at the most recent Erich McVey workshop. Today I’m sharing another styled shoot from the same workshop with a focus on texture and pattern with a color palette of dusty pinks. The Emily Riggs gown is a total showstopper, as are the portraits. And the tablescape is one that I personally think pinnners will go crazy for.

Organic Element Wedding Inspiration

Alright, my dear friends. This week I have a three-part series of images from Erich McVey’s most recent workshop in Elk, California. I’ve done a few features of his workshops before and if you don’t know this already, I am quite smitten with the work of all of these talented vendors. Naturally, I was thrilled to receive the images by talented photographer Wendy Cooper. Today’s set is from the first shoot, titled Element, with gorgeous cliffside portraits, a stunning Rick Owens gown, and beautiful models who may or may not have made me look at the pictures longer than usual.
