I am a lover of outdoor inspiration, but not every occasion is meant for the outdoors. And that’s okay. Today Leighanner Herr brings us angelic winter wedding inspiration, focusing on a subdued color palette with lots of beautiful whites, ivories and hints of gold. Delicate touches of lace, feathers, and pampas grass add to the pure, angelic feel of this shoot perfect for anyone thinking about a winter wedding or a classic white wedding look.
From the photographer…For this inspiration shoot I wanted to incorporate holiday elements in a unique and elegant way for those planning a wedding during the holiday season. I drew most of my inspiration from that of Angels. Pure, light and ethereal were a few of the words I kept in mind throughout the planning process. Sarah (of Blomes Paperie) and I decided upon a neutral color palette and we planned to incorporate lots of greenery and gold touches. For the cake we settled on a very simple two-tiered design with a cloud like texture and pieces of edible gold foil. Sarah designed a gorgeous ceremony backdrop of hanging feathers with gold accents and Blush and Vine incorporated pampas grass into the floral arrangements to give them a very soft and airy feel.
