Burgundy, Black & Gold Bridal Attire

Today I’m sharing something a little bit different. Photographer Anne Brookshire captured a fashion-forward styled shoot with the inspiration for burgundy, black and gold bridal attire. While this may not be your typical wedding inspiration or imagery of bridal fashion, I’ve got a lot of adoration for the look created here. The deep, oxblood color looks stunning with the model’s long, dark locks, and this is a look that could perhaps be worn by a fashion-forward bride for an elopement or rehearsal dinner. With so much inspiration for wedding day looks, I love bringing this shoot forward to showcase some of the other big-day moments in fashion that deserve a little love.

Oh how I connect with these images so much. Swiss photographer Anna Tereshina captures pre-wedding bridal portraits in Switzerland and they’re a breath of fresh air. Her free-spiritedness seems to rub off on me as a viewer of these images and I am so happy to showcase them with you all. This is a shoot to remind us that with the excitement of planning a wedding or styled shoot, sometimes you just need to take a step back from everything and enjoy being yourself.

This anniversary shoot from Deidre Lynn is shot during this season and gives us lovely soft and muted colors, and a natural and rustic take on the season with these two gorgeous love birds.

From the photographer…The soft muted colors of the very first dawning of spring were the inspiration behind this shoot. Golds and bare branches still rule the landscape and provide a stunning soft neutral backdrop for this sweet married couple. The recently melted snows had the normally small creek up to flowing river magnitude and the trees without leaf showed off their beautiful architecture. The dichotomy of both a soft peach gown and a black gown seemed perfect for the feel of this “in-between” season.
