Nothing is quite as dreamy and romantic as European ambiance. Its ornate architecture, lush greenery, and overall sophistication has so many of us dreaming of spending time in some faraway land. Today’s styled shoot captured by Allen Tsai gives the impression of Europe and reminds us that we can find that old world romance in the U.S. as well. These European-inspired bridal portraits take place at the Vizcaya Gardens in Miami, featuring lush florals, romantic hand-written calligraphy, and a backdrop that makes us feel like we’re on an exquisite vacation.

From the photographer…For this bridal session, we were inspired by the uniqueness of the old world Vizcaya Gardens that comes with the South Beach breeze; therefore we really wanted to evoke motion and movement throughout the images. The Ana gown from Elaya Vaughn was perfect for this session with its elegant and intricate beading on the top, yet possessing a free flowing train. Her bridal bouquet by Flower and Fringe had lots of greenery for a spillover effect, and was able to create amazing movement within the bouquet itself. Our makeup artist Jennifer Cruz decided to create a very soft and natural look, and keep her hair down with a touch of curls to flow in the wind. To tie the session back into the old world feel of the Vizcaya, Scribbles and Swirls created a suite with handmade paper, natural tones, and an organic script that allowed the landscape enhance the color palette of the suite. Shapiro Diamonds chose to pair the dress with some simple diamond studs and an old world yellow toned diamond ring.
