As timeless and lovely as traditional wedding styles may be, it’s always fun to showcase wedding inspiration that has a forward edge. Today’s modern wedding inspiration captured by Blue Rose Photography is filled with fun, contemporary details. Geometric patterns are used in the tablescape and backdrop, creating an art deco feel in a modernized way. The bride’s look, with a slick updo, red lips, and fitted lace overlay gown, is the perfect inspiration for the modern-day bride. Fun florals like billy balls and eucalyptus also add a contemporary touch to traditional bouquets. Let’s embrace our modern times and see how beautifully they play in wedding day events.

From the photographer…Styling was inspired by geometric patterns, lush berry colors mixed with industrial elements. The stylists created a greenery backdrop and an elaborate dessert table. Here is a note from the stylist “The idea behind our Soft Modern Shoot, was to find a balance. Balance between sharp angles and soft florals, bright colors and muted tones, harsh metals and smooth woods. With inspiration from both interior design and Seattle architecture- you’ll find a wooden backdrop that contains lush greenery, as well as cement accents throughout the table scape. This look is truly for a bride who loves a clean look but still wants her wedding to feel warm and romantic.
