What I love most about indoor styled shoots is the focus on the wedding details that come together to make something cohesive and inspirational. There’s no natural backdrop to catch our eye, so as viewers, we really get to pay attention and appreciate the detailing the vendors put together. Today’s romantic and elegant indoor styled shoot captured by Martina Wendland is chock-full of sweet and romantic ideas. From the elegant tablescape with roses and greenery to the sweet duo and their two-wheeled getaway, this shoot can provide us with both wedding day inspiration as well as ideas for other special occasions with our loved ones.
From the photographer…This shoot was styled by Erin of Alice Francis Events & Martina Wendland Photography. Drawing inspiration from English gardens and Provencal France, we relied heavily on florals, provided by The Vintage Floral Co, to transform the simple, but charming, “Whey Back” party room at The Milky Whey into a vision of summer. Draping greenery of bay leaf, rosemary, olive branches and salal spanned their gorgeous farmhouse table and pooled at the ends, with delicate crystal candlesticks, champagne flutes and quicksand roses dancing throughout. Erin kept the colour pallet to neutral ivories, whites, and pale pinks; and I created the stationery suite with a flowing calligraphy font, again with very simple and understated colours. Our model wore a stunning vintage tea-length gown with lace detail, an elegant up-do with delicate florals and vintage, handmade jewelry by La Osa Jewelry. Her bouquet included anemone, quicksand roses, white majolica spray roses, rice flower and hydrangea with a draped ribbon and broach detail. The groom sported a classic black suit with a matching pink tie, as well as a spray rose, rice flower and olive leaf boutonniere.
