I am a bit of a minimalist when it comes to wedding styling. Maybe it has something to do with having grown up in the woods of the second least populous state in the U.S. Whatever it is, I am always drawn to editorials that play off of natural surroundings. Today’s wild and beautiful elopement inspiration designed by Janna Brown Design Co. shows just how beautiful organic styling can really be. I love the mixture of hues and texture that create an unkept, wild beauty for the eloping couple, all of which is captured so beautifully by Ginny of Sleepy Fox Photography.
From the stylist, Janna Brown Design Co.…The concept of our shoot was built upon the elopement and mesmerizing connection of two young lovers, drawing inspiration from the natural elements of the landscape surrounding them. Hand-dyed silk offered a palette of marbled earth and ocean tones that adorned the couple’s cliffside table. Paper elements incorporated complimenting colors with unruly scrawled lettering and delicate specks of gold leaf. Untamed florals added pops of vermillion that contrasted with cascading greenery forged from the surroundings. The bride’s gown danced along the edge of the quarry, rising and falling with her every step. The sun set as the two lovers embraced and the final frames were captured, leaving us with stunning imagery of a blissful tale.
