Desert Wedding Bridal Portraits

I’m so excited to share this debut feature from Lucy Munoz. These desert wedding bridal portraits are taken in Palm Springs, California and have this enthralling feel. The scenery, model in her gown, and unique way in which Lucy captures the two together in their movement are what really draws me into this shoot. Florals by Indigo and Plum and hair and make-up by Vivian Tran give us several pin-worthy images as well.

From the photographer…Desert and winter were on our minds with this styled shoot. We made our way to Palm Springs because It seemed like the perfect backdrop for the look we were going for. We knew that there is both a softness and a stillness within the desert that seems so captivating. We were hoping to capture all of that in this shoot The blooms were created by Indigo and Plum. We loved how the story unfolded with garland to a big bouquet that had us singing with joy. Vivian Tran created looks that were amazing on our model with both a very soft updo and later a more gorgeous tousled look that took our breath away. The model Kori Agee wore the most beautiful gowns by Claire Pettibone and Winnie Couture. The way they moved made her look so ethereal and angelic.

There’s a certain fierceness in a desert setting and the way some of these photographs move is just stunning - I particularly love that first shot. Thanks so much to Lucy for sharing her beautiful work and make sure you stay tuned in to see more of her images in the near future!
