Today we get to feast our eyes on this styled shoot that incorporates an array of inspiration. The shoot by Lindsey Zovko in Virginia begins with a relaxing boudoir session and then is taken outdoors on the property of a quaint tree nursery. Highlights to prepare to pin are the model’s gorgeous hairstyle, the vibrant candy red bouquet, and the beautiful boudoir shots.
From the photographer…The Market at Grelen, one of the largest tree nurseries in the state of Virginia, recently began offering their property as a wedding venue. This bridal shoot was meant to showcase the newly added bridal suite as well as the incredible property at Grelen, and many incredible vendors came together for the shoot. We started the shoot with a bit of boudoir, with lingerie provided by Derriere de Soie. We then had her change into her own clothes for a fun look at what a relaxed bride may look like on her wedding day. The bridal look was vintage inspired, and we wanted the images to portray a beautiful but fun and relaxed bride. The model wore a custom made gown, a vintage charm that dates back to the Civil War, and a beautiful hand-made floral crown designed by Fabiola Capo Millinery. Her organic, natural bouquet was created by Nature Composed of local central Virginia blooms, and she ended the shoot eating the bridal suite cupcakes provided by Sweethaus, a cupcake shot based out of Charlottesville and Brooklyn.
I absolutely love the hair and headpiece in this shoot. I also love to see bright and bold florals every now and then and I like how this color palette veers away from the typical spring pastels. Thanks so much for Lindsey for the images of inspiration!
