Several months ago I featured the Nubivagant shoot from one of Erich McVey’s workshops. Any shoot at one of his workshops is guaranteed gorgeousness, so I’m thrilled to share this one titled Alate, which was also shot during his workshop in Elk, California. Jenna does an amazing job capturing all the beauty in this organic shoot styled by Ginny Au, who is my ultimate inspiration.

I’ve featured a few works by Russian photographer Janna of Warm Photo’s on the blog before (here and here). There is such unique inspiration in her photoshoots and this one presents itself with a beautiful distinctiveness as well. There’s a definite magic, fanciful feeling when viewing these portraits and they will have any fairytale-loving gal swooning over each one.

Here is a styled shoot that put little emoticon hearts in my eyes and filled me to the brim with inspiration and awe. The lighting, the gown, every beautifully put together detail from LB Floral and Silk & Willow, and of course the film captures from JoPhoto remind me of why I love to blog about weddings so much. Happy July, my friends! I cannot believe June has already come and gone and summer is here! Today I am sharing a very unique and beautiful styled shoot from Olga Siyanko and Ludmila Fateeva. This shoot was a pre-wedding affair for the couple and the photographer as a way to get inspiration and rehearse for the big day.

I recently featured one of my all-time favorite set of images of a styled shoot in the Great Sand Dunes by Katie Grant, so naturally, I’m excited to share another one of her amazing shoots. I love the ocean and some of my favorite wedding inspiration comes from organic shoots inspired by the natural elements of water. This one includes a fantastic shelled crown and a quaint and very pin-worthy sweetheart table.
From the photographer…We drew inspiration from the natural, rocky coastline and built the shoot around the natural palette of the shore. The sweetheart table is nestled into the large rock formations where waves crash underneath, creating a beautiful symphony. The table is adorned with light sea blues and sandy golds and the plates are set with each person’s name calligraphed on a translucent capiz shell. The focal point of this shoot is the bride’s jaw-dropping and gorgeous seashell crown, a fresh and inspiring take on the bohemian floral crown.
