I’ve featured Colorado-based photographer, Tamara Gruner’s work before and what I love about her shoots is how rich they are in their wedding details. She and her team of vendors seem to go above and beyond with decor ideas and today’s intimate Texas wedding inspiration with rose florals gives us so much pin-worthy imagery, I just don’t know where to start. Lush florals, calligraphy, ceremony, cocktail and reception decor, and a gorgeous gown, this shoot simply has it all.
From the photographer…The vast expanse of a desert is a mesmerizing sight. The mountains far away kiss the sky by the horizon and the valley, in between, offers an idyllic setting for a delicate and intimate wedding. We used this canvas to create a painting of a couple wanting to be part of this landscape – just by themselves.
Set in a private ranch, the entrance was adorned with blankets and candles to provide warmth for the cold desert evening. The clouds cheated rain, while the wind danced with abandon. The exchange of vows was an intimate affair only to be witnessed by the distant hills and the surrounding desert. The couple then decided to stroll the area – romancing and dancing to the tune of the desert wind.
The guests, in tune with the location and style, were treated to a sangria bar, while enjoying some wild chocolate. The main dinner table was decorated with roses and wild desert flowers while the place setting was adorned with hand painted blush name tags. The invitation suite was hand calligraphed and wrapped with delicate ribbons. The bride, wearing a Vera Wang gown, was seated in a romantic table for two, with her groom who matched her in his tuxedo. They enjoyed a candle lit dinner table by soaking in each other’s gaze while they looked far into the endless desert.
The beauty of this landscape can only be matched by elegance of a bride. It is she who is the desert rose!
