Some of my favorite wedding inspiration comes from the workshops of extremely talented wedding photographers. Ace & Whim are one of those talents who hosted a workshop last November in Arizona. The workshop had a Spanish theme with some serious style. Hannah Ball of Simply Stellar Photography was lucky enough to win a seat to the workshop and took some lovely images from the shoot. Let’s have a look!

From the photographer…The workshop was mostly about fine art photography, and what it means to shoot intentionally. It was really powerful. Because they are medium format film photographers, they learned that they really have to stop and think about their photograph before they press the shutter. It really opened my eyes to shoot more intentionally, and really think about the details a little bit more… They also touched quite a bit on how to get real emotion in your art… Literal motion, like the wind blowing, or a skirt twirling, and emotion are key to fine art photography.

Thank you so much to Hannah for sharing these images and her wonderful experience with us. What a talented group of people that worked on this workshop and it’s so fun to see the outcome in the photographs - I love the attire and the colorful hues of the florals!

This is beautiful! I love the mix of intense gazes and light moments, and the styling is gorgeous! Thanks for your recent comments on my blog and I’m so sorry it has taken me so long to stop by! I’ve been terrible with blog visits this year, but looking forward to following along and seeing more!
Lovely, that bouquet and centerpiece are to die for!
