Oh, how I’ve loved seeing the images from the last Bohême workshop in Greece. I recently featured a set of images of the Greek Castle Bride, and today I’m sharing images captured by Paris-based Marie Film Photographer of bridal portraits inspired by the Greek goddess, Aphrodite. These images focus on the bride and her beauty with only a few styling details like the light and airy Alexandra Grecco gown, Jannie Baltzer hair accessory and simple florals, proving that you don’t need to go overboard with details to capture stunning images.

From the photographer…The shooting was inspired by the Goddess Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, Desire and Beauty. The concept was capturing femininity and physical and emotional beauty, as inspired by Aphrodite in form and style. Drawing on the shapes, lines and poses demonstrated in Greek statues/sculptures with just a wall of old stones we can create a setting. I wanted to show that “less is more” and you don’t need a fancy venue or a breathtaking landscape to have beautiful shots of you on your wedding day. This bride represents the unity, the beauty in human form, she has gentle curves and is sensual, feminin but strong.
