To unleash the free spirit in all of us, today I’m sharing some gorgeous images captured by Kayla Barker. Call it wedding inspiration for the gypsy bride, or simply gorgeous portraits and details - this is a feature for fashionistas and wedding junkies alike. I am swooning over these images and basically, I want to be the woman in these photographs.

From the stylist, Without Wax, Katy…Dancing the line between boundless gypsy and murky gothic, this shoot balances both in perfection. Utilizing the beauty of the landscape and natural light, Kayla Barker, captured the limitless splendor of the day. A modestly refined color palette of white, black and green, was selected to allow for the focus of the bride and her little pony, Mack. The bride, in a long, sheer dress cozied up in a black fur coat as she played with her large brim black hat. Makenzi Laine perfected the bride’s style with a dramatic brown eye and natural lip as her hair was flawless in braids. Over looking the river, a wooden table for two was set with a free-flowing, organic arrangement of foraged greens and hellebores. Each setting was complimented with a small posy of foliage and name card. Soft linen napkins and utensils of mixed finishes added interest to a humble, yet striking tablescape. This is the kind of pretty that is rich in beautiful blooms, a bride styled in distinction and images bathed in stunning light, all awash in free romance as far as the eye can see.
