Today’s feature from Colorado-based film photographer Connie Whitlock is chockfull of wonderful wedding details. Taken at the Lemonade and Lenses workshop in a beautiful castle estate, this elegant outdoor summer wedding inspiration features simple decor with subtle pops of red and romantic lace details. This styled shoot also has some fabulous inspiration for ceremony decor - and I love that it’s included since oftentimes, the ceremony details don’t play a role in styled shoots. Overall, there is just something so sweet and simple about this styled shoot and it has just the right about of rustic-elegance.
I am so thrilled to share with you today this gorgeous summer wedding in my lovely home state of Vermont! A quick snippet about the state for those of you who have never been (or have never heard of) this little gem state: Vermont is the second least populous state in the U.S. This equates to gorgeous scenery, green mountains, farms, and tons of nature, and in turn, is a perfect place for a wedding. Riverside Farm is one of my favorite wedding venues and Jenny Moloney captures this wedding just perfectly!
From the bride…With our venue locked, we started getting into the details. I wanted our wedding to be reflective of us, filled with personal touches, and tightly knit with friends and family. I loved that we picked our menu, our band, and our flowers together; wrote every place card; and even designed our wedding invitations. The whole weekend was us personified!
For our accents and colors, we were as neutral as possible. When you have a backdrop as beautiful as the rolling mountains of Vermont, you don’t want to distract anyone with anything grandiose. Pale pinks, ivories, greys, and pops of some bright colors were trickled into all of our details. My bridesmaids wore any shade of grey and ivory that they preferred. They all looked beautiful, and paired so nicely! The groomsmen wore navy and max work a lighter blue hue. Our flowers for the reception and ceremony were a mix of soft pinks, ivory, silvery greys, and were accented with either birch branches, or vases. The birch was elegant, yet matched the campy nature of the venue.
Happy Monday, everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Did you know that I adore boho weddings? Well, I absolutely do. Today we’re bringing you an intimate boho farm wedding in Texas loaded with boho details and gorgeous pops of color. Check out the images from The Nichols with styling from Bird Dog Wedding; we’re sure you’ll love them.
Amy and Craig got married in October of 2014 in Springdale Farm in East Austin, Texas. It was an intimate wedding with gorgeous decor and florals from Bird Dog Wedding and Loot Vintage Rentals. They were married under a big pecan tree surrounded by their loved ones. Local food was prepared open-air style by Eden East.
Hello my dear readers. I love the feel of a rustic chic wedding and this wedding sums up that phrase pretty wonderfully. From succulents to the outdoor ceremony to the donut bar, this DIY ranch wedding is truly unique to the couple. Let’s have a look at these photos by Anna Peters and see what the couple had in mind for their day…
Jacob and Kortnee decided to really go for a DIY wedding. DIY wedding projects are wonderful, and are a true expression of the couple when they decide to take on the details themselves. The couple designed their invitations, built the escort card display, did their own gorgeous table number calligraphy, and painted their own wedding signs. And to top it all off, Jacob and Kortnee both love donuts, so they opted to have a donut bar with six different flavors. Oh, and they had a pretty incredible cake too…
I knew this was a wedding I wanted to feature when I saw the images of the pretty and colorful wedding details. From the vintage key escort cards to the ceremony backdrop, these details make this wedding truly unique and definitely provide fun images to look through. Dreamlove Photography captures this summer barn wedding at Bishop Farm in New Hampshire just beautifully. Check out the photos for yourself!
Eliza and Brent got married at a farm venue in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Their ceremony was held outside with a super fun triple door backdrop arranged with bright and colorful florals. Eliza opted to wear a scalloped lace sheath dress by Claire Pettibone. The dress fit in perfectly with the vintage inspired theme of their wedding.
